Tuberculosis, which remains a major infectious disease that is gravely endangering human health in this century, is a public health and social issue of global concern and one of the major diseases under the state’s key control. 1 General Information Since the 1960s, chemical treatments for tuberculosis have superseded past “hygrophilous therapies” and become recognized as the main weapon for controlling tuberculosis. The cure rate for newly discovered tuberculosis is over 95%. However, in the 20th century
