从1999年开始,新疆生产建设兵团农2师30团在棉花栽培中全面推广喷灌、高压滴灌等灌溉技术。2002年该团又采用以色列耐特菲姆公司的地下滴灌技术,在棉花栽培和沙漠地果树种植中获得良好效果,并决定2003年继续推广地下滴灌技术(包括棉花、西红柿、甜菜等),这就要求做好地埋滴灌带工作。根据地下滴灌农艺要求和布管技术,该闭设计了LDG-3型布管机,得到广泛推广。
Since 1999, 30 groups of farmers, division 2, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, have fully promoted the irrigation technologies such as sprinkler irrigation and high-pressure drip irrigation in cotton cultivation.
