Objective To understand the status of HIV / STI infection among FSWs in different places and provide a scientific basis for formulating comprehensive interventions for FSWs. Methods Epidemiological survey of female sex workers at various places in a county, township and village in Guangxi was conducted to collect demographic information and high-risk behavior information. Venous blood samples were collected to detect HIV and syphilis. SPSS11.5 software was used for statistical analysis. Results Among the 326 female sex workers, 60.7% (198/326) of middle and high-grade places and 39.3% (128/326) of low-grade places. Compared with the two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.001) in terms of age, occupation, education level, marriage, risk behaviors, HIV / AIDS awareness and HIV prevalence. Low-grade commercial sex workers older, farmers accounted for a higher proportion of lower educational level, poor awareness of AIDS, married accounted for more than the proportion; low-sex commercial sex workers for the elderly in the main service, the use of condoms is low, Low service charges, for the first time engaged in sexual transactions older, low-end commercial sex workers in the last month the average daily number of guests served more, and they received less AIDS services; low-sex sex workers HIV positive infection rate was 3.9%, significantly higher than the high Female sex workers, syphilis infection rate was 12.5%, compared with the high-end commercial sex workers no significant difference. Conclusion Low-grade bar sex workers have higher HIV / AIDS risk behaviors than mid- and high-grade FSWs, and their risk of transmitting AIDS is even greater. Therefore, they should be the key population for monitoring and intervention.
