2012年12月29日,海口市龙华路某餐馆发生一起误将亚硝酸钠当作食盐调配制作食物引起中毒事件。18时和21时20分,海口市龙华区疾病预防控制中心分别接到海南医学院附属医院急诊科和海南人民医院龙华门诊部急诊科各自收治2人和3人疑似亚硝酸盐食物中毒的报告后,立即向区卫生局、海口市疾病预防控制中心报告,市、区疾病预防控制中心立即组织应急队伍携带相关应急处置物品奔赴现
On December 29, 2012, a restaurant in Longhua Road, Haikou City, mistakenly identified sodium nitrite as salt to produce food and caused poisonings. At 18:00 and 21:20, the Longhua District Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Haikou received reports of suspected nitrite food poisoning from the emergency department of Hainan Medical University Hospital and the Longhua Clinic Emergency Department of Hainan People’s Hospital respectively.
