林锴,男,福建福州籍。一九二四年生。一九五○年毕业于国立艺专(现中国美术学院),得国画大师黄宾虹、潘天寿诸前辈亲授。一九五一年进人民美术出版社工作。几十年来所作画种、题材极为广泛。初从事连环画创作,后专攻国画,兼及书法、篆刻与古诗文,继前辈文人画之长处,熔诗、书、画、印于一炉。作品苍厚道劲,奔放而复整严,拙重而不臃肿。诗学则自唐宋元明清以至近代各家,择其优者,加以揣摩,融化而为我用。作品经常参加国内外展出及出版,并多次获奖。单行本有《林锴画选》、《林错书画》、《林锴书画集》(台湾版)、《墨花集》、《苔纹集》(诗集)。
Lin Li, male, Fuzhou, Fujian nationality. Born in 1924. He graduated from the National Art School (now the China Academy of Art) in 1950, and was awarded the prestigious predecessors by senior artists Huang Binhong and Pan Tianshou. In 1951 into the people’s fine arts publishing house work. Over the past decades of painting, the subject is extremely broad. Engaged in the comic book creation, specializing in traditional Chinese painting, and calligraphy, seal cutting and ancient poetry, following the strengths of the predecessors literati, melting poetry, books, paintings, printed in a furnace. Works Cangdao Tao Jin, bold and solemn but solemn, heavy and not bloated. Poetics is from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties and even to modern times, choosing its best, to try to figure out, melt and for my use. Works often participate in exhibitions and publications at home and abroad, and many awards. The booklet includes “Lin 锴 painting selection”, “Lin error painting”, “Lin 锴 painting and calligraphy collection” (Taiwan version), “ink set”, “moss set” (poetry collection).
