北京市古城中学是一所具有初中和高中的完全中学,具备住宿条件、目前拥有26个教学班,在校生700余名,共有教职工156人,其中博士生2入,研究生18人,市区级骨干教师10人,高级教师25人。学校致力于在绿色教育理念的引领下培养积极而负责的优秀公民。实行小班化教学,学生利用校园选课系统自选教师走班上课;每班配备三位专职班主任,分管学生心理、体育、学业三方面问题
