目前在光学车间普遍使用的光学比较测角仪视场大,测量精度低,而常用的测微自准直仪则测量精度高、视场小。这两种仪器均是通过目镜瞄准、读数,长时间工作,操作者容易疲劳。OEA-1电视自准直仪是在比较测角仪和测微自准直仪的基础上,采用CCD光电转换和视频信号技术研制成功的新一代自准直仪。它不仅视场大,而且测量精度高。同时,还能够根据对被测对象的要求在电视屏幕上任意地设定和显示公差带,实现对被测对象快速、准确的检测或判断。由于采用电视显示代替目镜观察,极大地减轻了操作者的劳动强度,提高了工作效率。
