程望同志是我国船舶工业主要创业者之一,是首任中央人民政府重工业部船舶工业局局长。生前在军工、船舶、航运等部门担负领导工作,并长期担任造船学会的主要领导。程望同志领导并经历了中国船舶工业从百废待兴到走向世界的整个过程,为创建当代中国船舶工业体系,率先推进中国船舶工业部门的改革开放,呕心沥血、无私泰献,作出了卓越贡献。他在全国海事界享有很高的声誉。他诚信待人,知人善任,为海事界人士爱戴。为更好梳理新中国船舶工业发展史,纪念程望同志百年诞辰,本期《船舶与海洋工程》特别刊发几篇中国船舶工业老领导、老同志的纪念文章,并在封二刊登一组程望同志生前照片,以缅怀他一生辛劳功绩,传承薪火,激励后人。
Comrade Cheng Wang is one of the major entrepreneurs of the shipbuilding industry in China and is the first director of the shipbuilding industry bureau of the Ministry of Heavy Industry of the Central People’s Government. Before his death in the military, shipping, shipping and other departments to take leadership, and long served as the shipbuilding Society’s main leaders. Comrade Cheng Wang has led and experienced the entire process of China’s shipbuilding industry from being overwhelmed to becoming a global one. In order to better sort out the history of the new Chinese shipbuilding industry and commemorate the centenary of Comrade Cheng Wang’s centenary, this edition of “Ship and Offshore Engineering” has specially issued several memorial articles for the old leaders and old comrades of China’s shipbuilding industry.
