学生怕记单词,历来是英语教学工作者面临的大难题。学生掌握词汇量的多少,直接影响其英语水平的提高。因此,帮助学生记忆单词是十分重要的。以下从四个方面谈谈如何帮助学生记忆单词。一、帮助学生树立记忆单词的自信心。要帮助学生树立记忆单词的自信心,首先,要使学生有积极的心态。有的学生认为自己记忆力差,情绪低落,态度消极,这对记忆单词只能起阻碍作用。其次,要使学生有记忆单词的愿望。人们通常较容易记住那些自己想记的事物。学生记忆单词的愿望越强,单词也就越容易记住。再次,要时常让学生体验到成功的快乐。特别是在低年级阶段,学生刚接触单词时,课堂上要及时给学生以反馈,多表扬学生。这样,让学生对自己记忆单词充满信心。
