福建的龙岩,是一个美丽的山水风景城市。这里有被联合国称为“建筑奇葩”的永定土楼,有丹霞地貌的冠豸山,也是一片光辉的革命热土,被党和政府称为“红土地”。可是,这样一片美丽的城市和红色热土,却在不久前遭受了两百年一遇的洪涝灾难。今年五月中旬,龙岩7县133个乡镇,光是永定县就死亡8人,失踪11人,直接经济损失达18亿元……一场洪涝,使革命老区艰难迈向小康的步伐更加沉重。龙岩的灾情受到了社会各界的广泛关注。2006年6月,已在福建多次开展援助贫困母亲行动的半边天药业集团,向革命老区的贫困母亲们又伸出了援助之手。
Fujian Longyan, is a beautiful scenery landscape city. There is the Yongding Earth Building, which is called “Wonder of Architecture” by the United Nations. It has the crown land of Danxia. It is also a glorious revolutionary hot spot, which is called “red land” by the party and the government. However, such a beautiful city and red earth have suffered a flood of 200 years once in a while. In mid-May of this year, 133 towns and villages in 7 counties of Longyan died 8 people just after they were killed in Yongding County, 11 were missing, and their direct economic losses reached 1.8 billion yuan. The floods have aggravated the difficult old revolutionary base areas towards a moderately prosperous life. Longyan disaster has been widespread concern in the community. In June 2006, Half the Sky Pharmaceutical Group, which had repeatedly assisted the poor mothers in Fujian, extended assistance to poor mothers in the old revolutionary base areas.
