In real-time, fact-driven applications, the high-performance 87C51FC microcontrollers are the first MCS-51 series cranes with 32kB of on-chip memory. The 87C51FC uses Intel CHMOS III-E technology, which doubles the memory capacity compared to the 87C51FB in the past and maintains compatibility with all MCS-51 family of products. This microcontroller is particularly suitable for embedded applications that require complex timing control, such as office automation equipment, medical equipment and mass storage devices, such as disk drives and tape drives. The 87C51FC is also ideal for industrial and automotive applications as well as home consumer products, security systems and VCRs.
