2000年11月,美国学前教育学会(NAEYC)在亚特兰大召开研讨会,来自美国和全世界各地计2～3万名学前教育工作者参加了这次大型学术盛会。以上海市教委副主任夏秀蓉为团长的中国学前教育代表团一行30人参加了这次研讨会,代表团由来自上海、香港、广东、福建等地的代表组成。我们对美国的12个学前教育机构进行了访问和考察,其中有瑞吉欧学校、High-Scope 学校、蒙台梭利学校和 Bank-Street 学校等。
In November 2000, the NAEYC held a seminar in Atlanta, where 20,000 to 300,000 pre-school educators from the United States and around the world participated in this large academic event. A total of 30 preschoolers of Chinese preschool education led by Xia Xiurong, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education participated in the seminar. The delegation consisted of representatives from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangdong and Fujian. We visited 12 pre-school educational institutions in the United States, including the Reggio, High-Scope, Montessori and Bank-Street schools.
