Peru is rich in natural resources and splendid Inca culture. However, this inherent advantage did not promote the prosperity of the day after tomorrow. So far, a large number of people still live in extreme poverty. This paradox requires us to search the answers from the Peruvian history. However, at present, the domestic historians still lack an in-depth study of the history of Peru, and no Peruvian monographs come out. In 1975, an excellent translation of the history of Peru was published in China, that is, “Modern History of Peru” by Frederick B. Parker, but there are two obvious shortcomings of the book: one is the description of political history is excessive, the other Less involved in the field; Second, as of 1965.
