著名油画家项而躬逝世两年了,广东美术馆于2001年国庆前,以《项而躬·磨难与风采》为题,展出了他的70多幅作品。整个画展显示出而躬磨难中的人生风采,其震撼心灵的美感,令我激动,感奋,心情久久不能平静。我与项而躬是重庆解放时同时入伍,1951年初又一同参加抗美援朝的战友,正是战火磨难的相同经历,使我对他创作的《战友们——献给最可爱的人》组画感受尤为强烈。这组画的创作素材,大多取自老秃山战役。当时,我在老秃山前线的坑道里曾战斗生活了120天,因此,我对这组画感到特别亲切。我站在一幅题为《穿山透地》的油画前(见封三),不愿离去。瞧,画面上是两个重叠的螺旋状的圆洞,左上角已透露天光;右下角冒出两位志愿军战士的头。前面的一位正
