To date, U.S. health experts conducted 104 human studies on 15,000 people and found optimism from proactive thinking can make people healthier, happier, and more successful. In contrast, pessimism caused by passive thinking leads to more despair, sickness, and failure, since this state of mind is always associated with depression, loneliness and shrinking. A survey of the U.S. Mettle Life Insurance Company showed that optimistic employees received 37% more insurance than pessimistic peers. What’s even more interesting is that the company hired a group of novice business failure, but optimistic, active thinking newbie. Those who would not have been hired have created a miracle, surpassing 10% of their turnover in comparison with others, and their secret to success is optimism.
