香港教育署最近对亚洲四小龙(新加坡、香港、韩国、台湾)和中国、英国、美国等7个国家和地区的小学课程安排进行调查后发现,新加坡小学生读书最用功,花的时间最多。 调查显示,新加坡小学生每年上课40个星期,全年上课时间共940个小时至980个小时,比香港小学生多近40%,香港的小学生一年内上课时间只有30个星期。
A recent survey conducted by the Hong Kong Department of Education on primary school curricula in four Asian countries (Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan) and seven countries including China, the United Kingdom and the United States found that primary school students in Singapore spent most of their time studying hard. According to the survey, primary school students in Singapore have 40 weeks of classes each year. Their class time is 940 to 980 hours a year, nearly 40% more than primary school students in Hong Kong. Primary school students in Hong Kong have only 30 weeks of classes a year.
