本文研究了用直接法设计型钢柱截面尺寸时型钢厚度的优选问题，建立了型钢的最 佳厚度与荷载之间的定量关系，从而完善了型钢柱截面设计的直接法．
In this paper, the optimal thickness of section steel was studied when the section size was designed by the direct method. The quantitative relationship between the optimum thickness and the load of the section steel was established and the direct method of section design of the section was improved.
