随着我国国民经济的高速发展,城乡用电负荷与日俱增.人们在增加对电力的需求的同时,对供电可靠性和供电质量也提出了更高的要求.为了达到国家提出的“九五”期间供电可靠性达到99.9%的指标,必须根据目前我国的配电网现状,采取有效技术措施,以提高配电网的运行可靠性和供电质量.配电网自动化是提高配电系统可靠性最直接和最有效的技术手段.利用这一技术可以实现配电网的运行状态监测、故障监测、故障定位、故障隔离与恢复完好区段供电以及远方控制等功能.根据国外配电自动化的发展历程,配电网自动化可以有以下几种控制模式:
