一九七二年以来,各大学先后恢复上课了。我们中大几个搞现代文学的人,对这门课程的开设,讲义的编写,以及课堂的讲授,遇到许多难题,不得解决。即使只讲鲁迅的作品,牵涉的问题也不少,不知怎样下结论才好。一九七三年七月,我们征得系领导的同意,到杭州、上海、南京、天津、北京兜了一圈,目的是向各兄弟院校取经,与同行们交换意见,并顺路访问有关作家和学者,以期回校后对进行教学有所启发和帮助。
