The initial project of the domestic mobile iN is designed on thebasis of ETSI’s CAMEL Phase-2 standard. The system turns out tobe the first commercial product implementing the state-of-the-art INtechnology capable of global roaming. The system has been deployedin the national GSM networks in about 12 cities, offering the socalled “Shenzhou Xing” auto roaming prepaid service in Beting,Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Naming, etc. Users may dial bothlocal and IDD numbers directly from the handsets. China Mobilecomwill distribute free CLIP (Calling Line Identifier Presentation) valueadded-service to the new subscribers for promotion purposes.
