According to the U.S. “Time Magazine” reported on July 14, 1980, British novelist CP Snow (1905-) died in London July 1 at the age of seventy-four because of gastric ulcer perforation . Snow was born in a businessman’s family in the industrial city of Leicester. Early childhood, he showed the natural sciences talent. He is 25 years old in his Ph.D. in physics. Snow thought she lacked “a single dedication and realized that she really wanted to engage in literary creation.” In 1932, he published a virgin detective novel “Death in Voyage.” Snow is a prolific writer. The eleven serial novels he began writing in 1935 were “strangers and brothers” (1940), Light and Darkness (1947), Hope (1949), The Masters (1951) New People “(1954),” Homecoming “(1956),” The Conscience of the Rich “(1958),” Affairs “(1960),” Right Belt “(1964),” Soothing Sleep “(1968) The Last Things ”(1970). These eleven serial novels, each one is independent. Snow first-person approach, through the life of hero Lewes Eliot life, life and experience, depicting the problems of the United Kingdom at the atomic age - people in modern society, power struggle and profit and the resulting moral values, Explores the conflict between rights and conscience. Elliot, the central figure of the great book, has gone through exactly the same path as Snow himself did, and critics think it is his autobiographical novel, but Snow does not recognize it. In addition, he is the author of Discoveries (1934), Political Inciters (1972), In Their Beliefs (1974) and others. His plays with his wife include “A Glimpse of the Park,” “Dinner Dance,” “Home Ball,” “Murder of Mrs. Mao Timur,” “Silver-footed Pigeon,” “Prosecutor.” Snow’s work reflects his own character: cautious, very confident, with a hierarchy of ideas and a clear understanding. He believes that a comfortable life should be replaced by work; he asserted that people will be more satisfied with their work. Therefore, Snow’s first-class work mainly describes those who see themselves as minor figures in their hearts. (Liu Ming is)
