宁波市曲艺家协会成立于1954年,是宁波市文学艺术界联合会团体会员中成立最早的协会之一,是宁波地区专业和业余曲艺工作者自愿组建的社会团体。60年来,市曲协在宁波市委宣传部、宁波市文联的正确领导和大力支持下,积极引领全市广大曲艺艺术工作者,牢记历史使命和庄严职责,团结一致、同心协力投身建设社会主义文化强国的伟大事业,大力推进改革创新和自身建设,不断开创曲艺事业和曲协工作新局面,从最初的只有十几人的团队,发展到现在的358名市级会员
