The International Symposium on Translation and Comparative Culture: East-West Dialogue was held on May 10-11, 2014 in Fudan University. The symposium was sponsored by the Chinese Language and Literature Department of Fudan University, the University of Michigan, the Literary Translation Research Center of Fudan University and the Chinese Civilization Research Center of Fudan University. The seminar was hosted by Fudan University Chinese Department. More than 70 representatives from more than 20 domestic and foreign institutions of higher learning and research institutions attended the meeting.
