Wang Jinxi, a brilliant example of a new Chinese oil worker, one of the “Top 100 Chinese Top 100 People” named by the Central Propaganda Department for being named one of the “outstanding representatives of party members enjoying high prestige among the masses since the founding of the People’s Republic of China”. 1923 October was born in Yumen County, Gansu Province. In the spring of 1950, Wang Jinxi passed the examination to become the first generation of drilling workers in new China. In April 1956, Wang Jinxi joined the Chinese Communist Party. Soon he served as captain of Bell 5 team and led Bell 5 team organized by the Ministry of Petroleum Industry
