目前,铜的常用分析法大多采用萃取比色法、极谱法、BCO直接水相比色法。但由于萃取比色法所用有机试剂的挥发性、极谱法使用的水银都对人体带来损害,而BCO法的灵敏度欠佳,所以进一步探索在水相中高灵敏度测铜的方法仍是分析工作者多年来研究的课题剂我们经过反复试验,提出在阳离子表面活性剂氯化十六烷基吡啶(CPC)的存在下,用二甲酚橙(XO)作显色剂测定微量铜的新方法。实验表明该方法具有灵敏度较高、显色时间快、稳定性好等特点。曾成功地应用于钢铁、合金铁矿石中微量铜的测定。

Experiments show that the method has the characteristics of high sensitivity, fast color rendering time and good stability. Has been successfully applied to the determination of trace amounts of copper in iron and steel and alloy iron ore.
