党的十七届四中全会审议通过的《中共中央关于加强和改进新形势下党的建设若干重大问题的决定》中,引人注目地提出建设马克思主义学习型政党的战略任务。这对于我们从新的历史起点出发,全面加强和改进党的建设,深入贯彻落实科学发展观,完成全面建设小康社会的历史任务,推进中国特色社会主义事业的全面发展,具有现实的指导意义。
In the “Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Several Major Issues concerning Party Building under the New Situation” reviewed and approved by the Fourth Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee of the Party, the strategic task of building a learning-oriented Marxist party has been conspicuously noted. This is of realistic guiding significance for us to proceed from a new historical starting point, comprehensively strengthen and improve party building, thoroughly implement the scientific concept of development, fulfill the historical task of building an overall well-to-do society, and promote the all-round development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
