从1947年始,因偶然的机缘,我忽然进入了研《红》考芹的学术圈里,直到今天,整整五十年。中间经历,很是丰富奇特。友人说,这段历史,形式上似乎只为对于一书一姓的研索追寻,实际上却与时代社会、学术风尚、文化潮流等等方面,都有其关联与意义,因而督促我就所忆及的作些记叙。不然日后即无人知晓,不但留下史实空白,还会衍生讹传谬说,真假难分,何以存其信实?我觉得此言有理,遂择其重要的关目,粗叙一二于此,以供考鉴。
