科技情报普及工作是科技情报事业发展的一项重要基础性工作.长期以来,并没得到科技情报界的重视,社会公众对科技情报的地位、作用及内涵缺乏了解,多数人尚不懂得开发和利用丰富的信息资源.目前,科技情报系统对社会服务的显示度和辐射面还较小,与其他信息系统相比,在社会上知名度还较低.为适应新的形势,推动情报事业的发展,应尽快改变这种状况.现就如何加强科技情报普及工作谈几点粗浅的看法.
