近些年来,罗平县各级政府提高了对教育地位的了解和认识,从而加大了对教育事业的投入,罗平县中小学教育事业呈现欣欣向荣、蓬勃发展的良好局面。但是,不可否认,罗平县中小学教育仍然存在较严重的问题:教育经费不足、师资力量匮乏、教学条件恶劣、学生流失严重等,严重影响罗平县农村基础教育的发展,使农村基础教育远远不能满足农村经济发展的需要。
