目的:对弱智儿童40Hz听觉相关电位(40HzAERP)、听觉中潜伏期反应(MLR)和听性脑干反应(ABR)检测结果进行比较和评估。方法:在作过ABR测试的基础上,对65例(130耳)弱智儿童和30例(60耳)正常儿童记录40HzAERP和MLR,对两组各项结果进行比较。结果:弱智组40HzAERP和MLR波形出现率在20dB(nHL)声强刺激时明显低于正常组(P<0.001);40HzAERP反应阈较正常儿童增高(P<0.01);弱智组MLR波潜伏期较正常儿稍延长;MLR各波振幅较正常组明显降低(P<0.05)。40HzAERP检测弱智组的波形出现率、反应阈值等与正常组儿童的差异小于ABR。结论:弱智组平均听力较正常儿童差;40HzAERP在评价弱智儿童听力时敏感性比ABR高,更能检测出患者存在的低频残余听力
Objective: To compare and evaluate the 40 Hz audiometric potential (40 Hz AERP), auditory latent period response (MLR) and auditory brainstem response (ABR) in mentally retarded children. METHODS: Based on the ABR test, 40 Hz AERP and MLR were recorded in 65 (130 ears) mentally handicapped children and 30 children (60 ears) normal children. The results of the two groups were compared. Results: The incidences of 40 Hz AERP and MLR waveforms in the mentally retarded group were significantly lower than those in the normal group (P <0.001) when the sound intensity was 20 dB (nHL); the threshold of 40 Hz AERP was higher than that in the normal children (P <0.01) The latency of wave was longer than that of normal ones. The amplitudes of MLR wave were significantly lower than those of normal group (P <0.05). 40HzAERP detection of the mentally retarded group waveform incidence, response threshold and other differences between the normal group of children less than ABR. Conclusion: The average hearing loss of the mentally retarded group is worse than that of the normal children. The 40 Hz AERP is more sensitive than the ABR in evaluating the hearing ability of mentally retarded children, and can better detect the presence of low frequency residual hearing
