我们常说的知识型经济,从经济学角度讲,可以有种种定义和说法。这里且从教育的角度来观察一下知识型经济下的工作形态。这里说的工作形态,是西方的所谓workplace。直译是工作场所,但是西方所指,不是工作的地方,而是工作的形式、方法、组织、概念,因此称为工作形态。在代表工业社会大规模生产的大工厂中,典型的组织模式是一个金字塔。在前线(典型的生产线)的,是成千甚至上万的工人。他们干的是操作性质的、近乎惯性的、简单而重复的体力劳动。他们的工作,每个人都只是整个大体制的一部分。他们按着上面定下来的生产计划,按照各自的岗位要求,按照严格的规章制度,一丝不苟地却毫无创意地完成自己分内的任务。为了有效地进行生产,这成千上万的工人,需要分成许多生产线。比如说,
