在今日这个愈加喧闹和昂贵的商业环境中,比竞争对手吆喝得更响亮反而可能会给企业带来低收益和失败。在很多消费品公司,广告和促销(A&P,advertising and promotions)的费用已经占到了销售收入的20%——零售商们还在不断施压,希望公司在推广方面继续加大投入——面对这样的压力,经理们的选择是要么削减广告促销成本,要么提高广告促销收益。
