早烧即早晨四五点钟吃烧酒。如今在浙北的海盐、海宁交界的通元、石泉、百步一带人们仍沿袭着这种奇特的饮酒风俗。 吃早烧的人大都是已上了年纪的当地农民,他们不管刮风下雨,365天从未间断过吃早烧。他们往往要在清晨二三点钟便从被窝里爬出来,粗粗洗把脸,四五点钟的时候,已陆续来到小镇的酒肆里。这些酒肆大都非常简陋,单开间门面,店堂里一般设有一个曲尺形的柜台,内设几张狭长形的小板台和板凳。靠街的一面常常摆有猪头肉、五香豆腐干、盐浸豆之类菜肴,供客人下酒。

Most of these wineries are very simple, single room facade, the shop is generally equipped with a curved foot-shaped counter, equipped with several long narrow plate and bench. The side of the street is often placed pig meat, spiced dried bean curd, salt dip beans and other dishes for guests to drink.
