《论语·子张》中有先哲孔夫子“仕而优则学”之名句,意思是说要想做一位优秀的官员,就得注重学习.孔子之后的荀子也讲过“仕者必如学”之语,仍是这个意思.其实,在新时期我军现代化建设中.作为一名不为“仕”的普通士兵,要想出类拔萃,有所建树,也必须得注重学习.我们的战士,大都想有所作为,大都有美好的愿望和理想.然而,仅仅如此是远远不够的.从干好本职工作上看,随着我军新时期战略思想的转变,新矛盾、新问题、新技术、新知识层出不穷,学习和掌握这些新东西,已是胜任本职工作的一个紧迫课题.从长远的观点看.一个人事业的成败,大都与有无学习的好习惯存在着必然的联系.因此,学习既是一个人生活的重要内容,也是成就事业不可缺少的组成部分.从确立正确的世界观上看,我们的战士都处于青年时期,世界观正处于由不定型到定型的过渡阶段,理论是思想的基础,所以注重学习尤为重要.
