海口市新华区农村凭籍区域优势,经济发展突飞猛进,农民收入稳步增长。然而,农村社会的稳定却不能与经济的增长同步,暴露出农村管理体制的滞后。为顺应农村新形势发展要求,新华区选择了以推行村民自治为切入点,全面推进农村基层民主政治建设,并在实践中取得了显著成效。新华区的实践有力地证明了实行村民自治,是现阶段农村基层民主政治建设的现实选择,将对农村的社会经济发展产生深远的影响。
Xinhua District, Haikou City, rural areas by virtue of Pingtou regional economic development by leaps and bounds, steady growth of peasant income. However, the stability of rural society can not be synchronized with the growth of the economy, exposing the lag of the rural management system. In order to comply with the requirements of the new situation in rural areas, Xinhua District chose to take the implementation of villager autonomy as a starting point and comprehensively promote the construction of grassroots democratic politics in rural areas and achieved remarkable results in practice. The practice in Xinhua District has proved that the implementation of villager autonomy is a realistic choice for the construction of grassroots democratic politics in rural areas at this stage and will have a profound impact on the social and economic development in rural areas.
