On June 26, “China’s Most Soft-Power Cities” survey was unveiled in Shanghai, and Qingdao was named one of China’s most soft-power cities. As we all know, urban soft power is based on non-material elements such as urban culture, urban environment, population quality and social harmony, and these indicators appear to be “soft” - not as quantitative, standard, clear, Sometimes it even incorporates some subjective feelings, but they form a “permanent truth” in a city that keeps its charm forever. As a prominent manifestation of soft power, the administrative examination and approval service in Qingdao has been drawing much attention. Many overseas and domestic businessmen have confirmed that they have reached Qingdao through such a government service window.
