在经济全球化、建立社会主义市场经济体制和现代企业制度条件下,如何加强和改进企业党的建设,才能充分发挥企业党组织的战斗堡垒作用和党员的先锋模范作用,并使这种作用成为推动社会主义市场经济健康发展、提高企业综合竞争实力的强大动力?面对新世纪新阶段的新形势和新任务,这是一个极具探索性、挑战性和创新性的重大课题。创造性地求解这个课题,并找到适合企业实际的正确答案,是保证21世纪党的建设这一新的伟大工程的质量与效率、提高党的执政能力和增强企业应对全球化挑战能力的关键环节。为了促进加强和改进企业党的建设,我们策划了下面这一组文章,试图从不同角度、不同方面对这一课题作出分析,希望能对正在进行的党员先进性教育活动提供参考和启示。

In order to promote the strengthening and improvement of the party building in the enterprises, we have planned the following group of articles in an attempt to analyze this issue from different angles and in different aspects, hoping to provide reference and inspiration to the on-going educational activities of party members.
