天然树根,只经剪裁,无须雕饰,一件根艺作品就应运而生了(见右图)。它在香港回归的时候出现,决不是偶然的,而是树根的灵性和作者的悟性所使然。其寓意是深远的,它给人们以历史的思索,现实的喜悦和欢庆。它造型奇特,线条流畅,色调和谐,构图优美。它又是一个抽象符号,给人无限想象的空间。尽可以启发大脑潜能,想到许多许多,这就是根艺“回根”的魅力。
Natural roots, only cut, without carving, a root art work came into being (see right). It comes by the time of the return of Hong Kong. It is by no means accidental.
