用试管法测定了大蒜素对常见４株气单胞菌的最小抑菌浓度。结果表明，该药对这类致病菌具有较高的抗菌活性，其中对Ｕ１、Ｊ５０１、Ｊ５０２的最小抑菌浓度（ＭＩＣ）为１５．６ｍｇ／ｍｌ，对Ｐ５０２ＭＩＣ为３１．２ｍｇ／ｍｌ。对鲫鱼人工感染温和气单胞菌Ｕ１试验结果表明，大蒜素微囊按５０ｍｇ／（ｋｇ·ｄ）连用３ｄ，对治疗鲫鱼气单胞菌感染有显著效果。
