理论依据:在全球化语境下,民族间的交流比以往任何时候都更需要翻译。(陈永国,2003)翻译对中国文化的发展的建设性意义毋庸赘言。后殖民主义视角下译者主体性地位得到了最大限度的发挥。后殖民主义运动与翻译研究两者的结合产生了后殖民主义翻译理论。这一理论把翻译理解为一种政治行为,主张在翻译文本中介入“殖民地群族的价值观”以重塑殖民地群族形象。这一理论的目的在于重塑译者(殖民地群族)
Theoretical Basis: In a globalized context, inter-ethnic communication requires translation more than ever before. (Chen Yongguo, 2003) The constructive significance of translation in the development of Chinese culture goes without saying. Under the perspective of post-colonialism, the translator’s subjectivity has been maximized. The combination of the post-colonialist movement and translation studies led to post-colonial translation theories. This theory interprets translation as a political act that advocates the involvement of “colonial values” in the translated text in order to reshape the image of colonial communities. The purpose of this theory is to reshape translators (colonial groups)
