继2005年国务院召开全国扶持人口较少民族发展工作会议之后,在新中国成立60周年之际,经国务院批准再次高规格的召开扶持人口较少民族发展工作经验交流会,体现了党中央、国务院对少数民族和民族地区的高度重视,清晰地表明扶持人口较少民族工作,不仅是一项重要的扶贫工作,是一项重要的民族工作,还是一项具有全局和战略意义的工作。
