磁带录像机(VTR)是可用以存储,重放视频信息的最重要的设备之一。自从1956年首次在商业上成功地推广广播专用录像机以来,录像机技术的改进就一直与提高磁带的记录密度直接相联系。现代高密度的记录工艺已使很多卓越的产品和技术脱颖而出,其中包括高质量的广播专用录像设备,廉价而方便的家用录像机,以及小巧玲珑的摄录设备。由于数字技术和LSX(大规模集成)器件的最新工艺的运用,例如FM和PCM记录方法,使VTR的整机性能正在迅速获得改进。本文将对录像机的发展背景及其最新技术进行论述。
Video tape recorders (VTRs) are one of the most important devices that can be used to store and play back video information. Since the first commercial successful rollout of broadcast-only video recorders in 1956, video recorder technology improvements have been directly linked to increased tape recording densities. Modern high-density recording technology has made a number of outstanding products and technologies stand out, including high-quality broadcast video equipment, cheap and convenient home video recorders, and small and exquisite video equipment. Due to the latest technology of digital technology and LSX (Large Scale Integration) devices, such as FM and PCM recording methods, the overall performance of the VTR is rapidly being improved. This article discusses the background of VTRs and their latest technologies.
