In 1986, the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) investigated the lead exposure of 30 auto radiator repair shop workers in the suburbs of Saint Paul, Minneapolis and its suburbs. Survey includes plant facilities and production inspection tour, repair plant and personal lead exposure monitoring. The average concentration of lead in the air of 24 repair shops was 0.040mg / m ~ 3 in the range of 0 ~ 0.281 mg / m ~ 3. The average concentration of lead in the air of 16 repair shops monitored by individual samplers was 0.113 mg / m ~ 3 , The average blood lead level was 1.53 (range 0.24 to 2.80) in the range of 0-590 mg / m 3.53 repair workers (mean age 37.1 years, average length of service 14.3 years)
