近年来,阜城县大面积推广了高产优质高赖氨酸玉米——鲁玉13号,创出亩产672.5公斤的高产纪录,受到广大农民的欢迎。鲁玉13号,原名鲁单203,是山东省农科院玉米研究所育成的一个具有含高赖氨酸,产量高,品质优,抗性强等特点的高产优质新品种。该品种春播生育期为110天;夏播为92天;套播为98天。属紧凑型红轴黄粒、半硬质胚乳类型玉米种。一般株高84厘米,穗长20.5厘米,穗行数18—22行,行粒数40粒,千粒重260克,出籽率88%。
