党的十四届六中全会是在我国改革开放和社会主义现代化建设事业承前启后、断往开来的重要时期召开的具有重大意义的会议,是我们党带领全国各族人民把建设有中国特色社会主义伟大事业向新世纪全面推进的历史性会议。全会通过的《中共中央关于加强社会主义精神文明建设若干重要问题的决议》,是今后一个时期指导我国社会主义精神文明建设的纲领性文件。中共甘肃省八届五次全委扩大会议认真学习了党的十四届六中全会精神,分析了我省精神文明建设面临的形势,根据我省国民经济和社会发展“九五”计划和2010年远景目标的要求,提出如下实施意见。

The Fifth Plenary Session of the Eighth National People’s Congress of Gansu Province has earnestly studied the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 14th CPC Central Committee, analyzed the situation facing the construction of spiritual civilization in our province, and according to the plan of “Nine-Five” in our province’s national economy and social development And the long-term goal of 2010, put forward the following implementation opinions.
