笔者认为,代理县长职务应自然终止于选出新的县长,而副县长职务需要办理职务终止手续。代理县长职务自然终止有法可循。地方组织法第四十四条赋予了各级人大常委会的决定代理权,即在一府两院正职因故出缺,从副职中决定代理的人选;也就是说,人代会选举的政府县长届中因故出缺,应由本级人大常委会从副县长中决定一人代理县长职务。对于代理县长职务如何终
