Take the initiative to learn from and learn from other countries’ experiences and practices, and accurately grasp the common law of building a harmonious society. Nowadays, the world is paying attention to the construction of a harmonious society in China. However, China has done a great deal of work in studying and using the experiences of other countries for reference. As the main platform for inter-party exchanges, the liaison department of the CPC Central Committee became one of the main positions for this work. During the two years from the Fourth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee to the Sixth Plenary Session of the 6th Plenary Session, the Central Government Department made reports on the two major topics as the core and introduced the experiences and lessons learned from overseas in building a harmonious society to higher levels.
