成才档案:孔祥东,1968年10月出生于上海。1985年2月,在北京获文化部主办全国钢琴比赛第一名;1986年6月,在莫斯科获柴可夫斯基钢琴比赛铜奖;1988年6月,在美国获吉纳·巴考尔国际比赛金牌大奖;1992年7月,在澳大利亚悉尼获国际比赛金牌大奖及四项特别奖。1993年7月毕业于美国费城柯蒂斯音乐学院。从1994年开始每年60场音乐会国际巡演。1997年2月在上海浦东创办“孔祥东音乐艺术中心”,后相继创办了苏州、成都、北京等地的分校。2000年5月受聘为上海同济大学客座教授,以后相继被西北大学等六所大学聘为客座教授。2001年当选为联合国儿童基金会亲善大使。

February 1985, the Ministry of Culture in Beijing hosted the first national piano competition; in June 1986, won the Tchaikovsky piano competition in Moscow bronze medal; June 1988, in the United States by Gena Bacard International Competition Gold Medal; July 1992, won the gold medal in international competitions and four special awards in Sydney, Australia. July 1993 graduated from the Philadelphia Curtis Institute of Music. From 1994 onwards 60 concert international tour. In February 1997, he established “Kong Xiangdong Music and Arts Center” in Pudong, Shanghai, and successively founded branch schools in Suzhou, Chengdu and Beijing. In May 2000, he was hired as a visiting professor at Shanghai Tongji University and later hired as visiting professor by six universities such as Northwestern University. In 2001 he was elected Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.
