The development of large airliner projects and the establishment of China Commercial Aircraft Corporation represent major strategic decisions made by the Party Central Committee in grasping the trend of scientific and technological development in the world, focusing on the overall situation of China’s modernization drive and enhancing the capability of independent innovation in China. General Secretary Xi Jinping is very concerned about the large airliner project and encouraged us to speed up the construction of a world-class aviation enterprise and make new contributions to establishing a strong aviation industry. We must further study and understand the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches, adhere to the concept of “innovation and entrepreneurship creation”, scientifically grasp the law of the development of civil aircraft industry, and accelerate the building of a world-class aviation enterprise.
