Glioma is a common intracranial tumor, was invasive growth, poor clinical prognosis. Glioma invasion process is a complex and multi-step continuous process, including adhesion, degradation and migration and other aspects, involving adhesion molecules, enzymes and cytokines and other factors. Glioma stem cells (gliomastem cells, GSC) are part of the group of gliomas, which has the characteristics of normal stem cells and primitive cells diversity, and tumor initiation, proliferation, invasion, recurrence and chemoradiotherapy resistance. The study of GSC invasiveness can have a positive impact on revealing its biological behavior and improving the clinical efficacy of glioma.
